Nefarious Cellars |  Effective March 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order or enrolling in the Nefarious Wine Club. By purchasing from us or joining our wine club, you agree to be bound by these terms. Sections marked 'Wine Club Members' apply specifically to wine club enrollment and membership.

1. Age Verification

1.  You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine from Nefarious Cellars or to enroll in the Nefarious Wine Club.

2.  By placing an order or enrolling in the wine club, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age and that the person receiving any shipment is also at least 21 years of age.

3.  Nefarious Cellars reserves the right to cancel any order if we have reason to believe the purchaser or recipient does not meet the legal drinking age requirement.

4.  All shipments require an adult signature (21+) upon delivery. If no eligible adult is available to sign, the carrier will make additional delivery attempts or hold the package at a local facility.

2. Pricing & Payment

1.  All prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time of purchase.

2.  Nefarious Cellars reserves the right to correct pricing errors and will notify customers of any corrections prior to processing payment.

3.  All payments are processed securely through Orderport or Vinoshipper. Nefarious Cellars accepts major credit cards.

4.  Credit card information is stored only if you choose to save your payment details for future purchases. This storage is managed entirely by Orderport's or Vinoshipper’s secure payment system in accordance with PCI DSS standards. Nefarious Cellars does not have access to your full credit card number at any time.

5.  Loyalty points cannot be applied to wine club allotments, tax, or shipping charges.

3. Sales Tax

1.  Nefarious Cellars collects applicable sales tax on all orders in accordance with state and local tax laws. Sales tax is calculated based on the delivery address and will be displayed at checkout prior to completing your purchase.

2.  Individual state regulations regarding taxes and quantity limits on wine shipments apply. We comply with all applicable state laws.

4. Shipping & Delivery

1.  Nefarious Cellars ships wine to all states where direct-to-consumer wine shipment is legally permitted. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that wine shipment is legal at their delivery address prior to ordering.

2.  We are unable to ship to states that prohibit direct wine shipment, to PO Boxes, or to APO/FPO addresses. Orders placed to ineligible addresses will be cancelled and refunded.

3.  Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on order size, weight, and destination. Orders are processed and shipped within 3–5 business days.

4.  Tracking information will be provided for every shipment. Estimated delivery times vary by destination and carrier. Nefarious Cellars is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier issues, or other circumstances beyond our control.

5.  Because wine is sensitive to temperature, we generally ship Monday through Wednesday during warmer months. We may contact you to discuss overnight shipping options or to delay a shipment in order to protect wine quality.

6.  Nefarious Cellars is not responsible for damage caused by exposure to temperature extremes during transit.

5. Missed & Returned Deliveries

1.  If a delivery attempt fails, the carrier will make up to three attempts before returning the package to us.

2.  Packages returned due to failed delivery attempts will incur return shipping and reshipment fees charged to your payment method on file.

3.  If you need to redirect a shipment after it has left our facility, please contact us as soon as possible. A redirect fee and any additional shipping costs will apply.

4.  You are responsible for all shipping, return, and reshipment costs associated with failed deliveries.

5.  Wine is considered sold once an order is processed, even if a shipment is subsequently returned due to failed delivery.

6. Returns & Damaged Shipments

1.  All sales are final. Due to the nature of alcohol sales and applicable state regulations, Nefarious Cellars does not accept returns on wine purchases.

2.  All shipments are insured. If your order arrives damaged, broken, or if you received incorrect items, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@nefariouscellars.com with your order number and a description of the issue. We will arrange for replacement or store credit at our discretion.

3.  If you believe a bottle has a quality defect — cork taint, oxidation, or other wine fault — please contact us at hello@nefariouscellars.com. We take quality seriously and will review each situation individually.

7. Order Cancellations

1.  Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement at no charge. To request a cancellation, contact us at hello@nefariouscellars.com or call (509) 682-9505 as soon as possible with your order number.

2.  After 24 hours, orders that have already been processed or shipped cannot be cancelled.

Sections 8, 9, and 10 apply to Nefarious Wine Club members only.

8. Wine Club Membership  —  Wine Club Members

1.  The Nefarious Wine Club is open to anyone 21 years of age or older. By enrolling, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2.  Membership is ongoing until you notify us in writing that you wish to cancel. See Section 10 for cancellation details.

3.  We request a minimum commitment of two shipments before cancelling membership. An early termination fee may apply if you cancel before completing two shipments.

4.  Nefarious Cellars reserves the right to modify or terminate your membership at any time. We will not upgrade your club level without your consent.

5.  Nefarious Cellars produces wines in limited quantities. If a specific wine designated for your club shipment becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute a different vintage or a wine of equal or greater value. We will notify you of any substitutions.

9. Wine Club Billing & Automatic Charges  —  Wine Club Members

1.  The Nefarious Wine Club is an automatic delivery program. By enrolling, you authorize Nefarious Cellars to automatically charge the payment method on file for each club shipment.

2.  You will be notified in advance of each upcoming charge. It is your responsibility to ensure your billing, shipping, and contact information is current and accurate in your account at all times.

3.  Nefarious Cellars is not responsible for delivery failures or billing issues resulting from outdated account information.

10. Wine Club Cancellation  —  Wine Club Members

1.  To cancel your wine club membership, please notify us by email at hello@nefariouscellars.com at least 30 days prior to your next scheduled shipment charge date.

2.  Cancellation requests received less than 30 days before a scheduled charge may result in one additional shipment being processed before cancellation takes effect.

3.  Early cancellation before completing the two-shipment minimum commitment may result in an early termination fee.

11. Limitation of Liability

1.  Nefarious Cellars' liability for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the total amount paid for the order in question.

2.  We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

12. Governing Law

1.  These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Washington State.

13. Changes to These Terms

1.  Nefarious Cellars reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or participation in the wine club following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
